Real estate is a second career for Harbor County native Jerry Olson. After a rewarding career as a teacher and a coach, Olson decided to change his focus and founded Olson Real Estate 30 years ago.

Upon graduation from Western Michigan University, Olson became involved in the rehabbing of cottages in the Harbert area. After successfully completing several projects, Olson became more interested in the real estate industry and decided to get his real estate license.

With one year's experience under his belt, Jerry started his own firm in 1979 and is now one of the most established firms in the area. "Real estate is a service business and as such, we have made our distinction in the market by providing an extraordinary level of service to our clients. Whether buying or selling a piece of real estate our objective is to make the experience as pleasant as possible for our customers."

Jerry attributes a large part of his success to the fact that he has been able to continually attract exceptionally qualified people to work in his business.
